Senior Solutions Architect

Job Description (Posting)PowerObjects, an HCL Technologies Company is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F Solution Architect to join our award-winning and growing team.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 F Solution Architect carries the ultimate responsibility for meeting the customer requirements and completing the project and will be comfortable in all aspects of delivery.

They must be capable of switching between supporting or leading customer facing functional workshops and a group of functional consultants and business analysts, supporting technical roles, including interface, data, and development teams, either customer-based or HCL-PowerObjects-centric onshore and off-shore teams, working with project and program managers to effectively report on progress, risks, and issues
– to liaising with both internal and customer senior stakeholders
– adjusting the approach and language as required for each interaction.

The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.Essential FunctionsAssume overall responsibility for solution architecture, including clear visibility of transition from as-is solution landscape to to-be solution landscape through delivery and ownership of solution overview diagramsAbility to act as a functional & technical lead and to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities.

Leads functional & technical workshops with customers, documents requirements, and designs appropriate solutionsAbility to act as an interface/integration lead and to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities.

Leads integration workshops with customers, documents requirements, and designs appropriate solutionsAbility to act as data migration lead and to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities.

Leads data migration workshops with customers, documents requirements, and designs appropriate solutionsBe a strong advocate for adherence to standards and best practice.

Understand the capabilities of the development team, providing support and assistance when neededWork with customer and internal teams on solution, business, and infrastructure architecture where requiredProvide required functional, business, and technical support to our customers during D365 F implementations, working with D365 CE Architects on hybrid projectsWrite and review high level and detailed solution architecture documentationCreate Solution and Functional documentation for the projectDesign, review, and test customized code for D365 ERP customizationsStay current on D365 F and related technologies, particularly Azure stack technologies that support the solution and assist with Product Go to Market strategyMentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and experience to ensure that the team grows in experience and effectivenessExpected to be flexible with time and capable of working in a process-oriented environmentExcellent communicator with ability to operate within cross functional teamsAdvise customers on best practices for D365 F processes, user interface, and architectureWork with the training team to deliver and create super users and end user training, as neededComfortable participating and leading pre-sales engagementsWork effectively with the sales team on delivering tender response documents, estimates, and customer demonstrationRequired Skills and ExperienceExhibit PowerObjects’ Guiding PrinciplesSolid Microsoft platform Software or IT experience, minimum of 5 years of professional experience within a consultancy environmentExtensive experience as a functional lead for either an AX or D365 F solutionAt least 5 end-to-end full lifecycle implemeQualificationB TechSkill (Primary)Microsoft Dynamics (APPS)-Finance & Operations-Functional-MsD-AX / D365 Application Architect
