Job DescriptionAs a Salesforce technical architect you will be responsible for successfully designing and managing the delivery of cloud based solutions and technologies. These technologies include, but are not limited to, Salesforce.Com, Apex/Visualforce, Amazon Web Services, and Workato. You will manage and lead the technology roadmap and vision for each client you’re assigned to, and it will be your responsibility to grow the relationships within each account to ensure long-term partnerships with the clients’ technology teams and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to use their technical expertise and business acumen to transform clients’ problems into solutions. This is a great opportunity to join a team of exceptional consultants who thrive in fast-paced environments where you can share your ideas with other like-minded, passionate people.Responsibilities & DutiesDesign solutions for scale applying architecture frameworks, best practices and principles (quality, performance, flexibility, modularity, maintainability etc.), engaging with other architects to develop creative solutions that solve challenging business and technical problems.Use your deep understanding and knowledge of the Salesforce platform and enterprise-scale integrations to provide technical expertise that addresses business, process, and technical challenges, deliver overall technical designs for solutions built on the Salesforce platform, lead proof of concepts, and perform hands on coding in Apex / VisualForce, Lightning, API development and integrations.Partner with business stakeholders to understand and articulate business priorities and strategies, and translate them into structured roadmaps, initiatives, and thoughtful technical designs; ensure that the implementation of new and enhanced features and capabilities are prioritized to maximize business value.Provide technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), iterative refinement and coding standards. Identify technical design risks and collaborate with the team to develop mitigating approaches; advise and engage on the development and delivery of Salesforce features from inception through delivery, providing hands-on expertise.Help develop Saasinct’s practice by mentoring resources, taking on leadership roles that expand the capabilities of our practice and service delivery team.Qualifications & SkillsA minimum of 5 years of experience developing Salesforce customizations (Apex), integrations, building Flows, and developing and executing data migrations. Bachelors degree or equivalent (minimum 7 years) work experience.Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce data model and data architecture principles, declarative capabilities, authentication, authorization and security patterns, with the ability to determine the right customization approach. Deep understanding of platform feature capabilities and trade-offs/limitations for solutions leveraging code vs. configuration.This is a senior client-facing role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position, along with an unwavering commitment to client success and satisfaction. The ability to accurately assess and constructively communicate project risks to manage client expectations is a must in this position.Preferred SkillsProgramming Languages – APEX, VisualForce, Familiarity with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE. Experience using Workato to build integrations with Salesforce is required for this role.
