As a Principal Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will work with other developer and engineering teams in a secure, reliable and adaptiveDNS, DHCP, IP Management services environment within Dell Technologies data centers, private and other public clouds to deliver and deploy advanced DDI solutions in a global enterprise environment.You will:Test data migrations, data integration, create Use Cases, Automate Test Suites for Unit, Functional and User Acceptance TestingWork with a global cross-functional engineering team on building test frameworks and test automation suites to qualify core DDI capabilitiesTake part of test-driven development to support test automation for microservices and UI Evaluate new technologies and approaches to streamline tooling, development Help build a new infrastructure automation platform to support one of the largest online retailers on the planet and drive the innovation and evolution of Dell Technologies DDI platformConsult on network solution and architecture design process development, participate in code reviews and serve as a subject matter expert on software development projects for network automationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop milestones and deliverablesProvide guidance and mentoring for junior engineersTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.

Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsMinimum of 6+ years working with Linux/Unix (open source software) and Docker or similar containerized environmentsExcellent Ansible and/or Python coding skills; must have experience developing, deploying and testing code at scale to support a Global Infrastructure PlatformAbility to validate the results/outputs from our development communityExperience with REST API’s and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Desirable RequirementsExperience with Kubernetes, Helm, UI Automation or DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) platformsHere’s our story; now tell us yoursDell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
