Bluegrass Community HospitalEssential FunctionsWe are seeking a candidate with an electrician’s license.Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.Assists and documents all phases of preventative maintenance programs and any other information that is necessary in the performance of daily duties.Performs minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler and carpentry repair. Assists with maintenance of boilers and upkeep of machine room. Performs tests and chemical treatment of boilers and water supplies as required by manufacturer and State and Federal specifications.Assists with maintenance and appearance of all hospital grounds, including all exterior lighting of hospital grounds and medical office buildings.Job Requirements:Job RequirementsMinimum EducationX High school diploma or equivalent X RequiredX Two years of college X PreferredElectrician License PreferredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
