Parexel is looking for a to help build out a brand new function in our security organization.
This individual will be based in our Durham, NC office.
Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements Using Risk management, apply best practice standards to identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements Use current programming language and technologies to writes code, complete programming and performs testing and debugging of applications Providing security expertise for projects for IT and internal customers.
Take active role in guiding other SBUs and clients in security best practices.
Qualifications 5 years’ experience in Security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies Designing and implementing security solutions.
Hands-on experience delivering cloud PaaS based application Hands-on experience delivering security architecture in the cloud (i.E.
Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS) Hands-on experience delivering Enterprise Identity and access management (IAM), Federation and Single Sign-on solutions Knowledge of Penetration Testing, Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) and Static Application Security Testing (SAST).
Knowledge of VB.NET, Java/J2EE, API/web services, scripting languages such as Python and a relational database management system (RDBMS) such as MS SQL Server or Oracle.
Knowledge of ISO27001 Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting information to groups Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Strong leadership, project and team-building skills, including the ability to lead teams and drive projects and initiatives in multiple departments Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, information security programs and technology projects The ability to be the enterprise security subject matter expert who can explain technical topics to those without a technical background Education and Certification Requirements College degree in a relevant technical area (Security, Computer Sciences, other Sciences) CISSP is required ISSAP or CSSLP is a plus Language Skills Native language and fluent in written and verbal English EEO Disclaimer Parexel is an equal opportunity employer.
