What will you do?Serve as an internal subject matter expert for information security issues, trends, and leading practices, maintaining an holistic understanding of attack vectors, current threats, remediation strategies, and the tools needed to detect, prevent and repair security issues.Strong ability to manage and report on multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing efforts, managing time effectively and requiring minimal supervision in the execution.Design, deploy and maintain centralized security tools.Maintain essential skills in modern technology/standards and use automation whenever possible.Propose improvements to security system architecture and drive automation efforts.Perform proof of concepts to evaluate technologies and be able to provide consultation for cybersecurity controls and risk decisions.Participate in architectural and design discussions, providing technical engineering and architectural guidance to the team.Mentor less senior members on both Security and DevOps best practices.You might be a perfect fit if you have:7+ years of experience in information technology and/or network engineering with a minimum of 4 years Information Security.Strong ability to manage and report on multiple projects / system deployments concurrently, prioritizing efforts, managing time effectively, and requiring minimal supervision in the execution.Demonstrated problem solving, analytical, and investigatory skills combined with the ability to develop creative solutions and navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced, agile environment.Knowledge of cloud based security issues and related activities relating to threat detection, monitoring, and response.Excellent meeting facilitation, presentation, report-writing, and demonstrated attention to detail.Bonus points for:Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus: Palo Alto Panorama or Prisma, Cisco ISE, Crowdstrike Falcon, Splunk, Datadog, Tenable Nessus.Professional information security related certifications (such as Security+, GIAC GSEC, CCNA).2+ years of hands-on experience with automated infrastructure and software deployment (Chef, Packer, Terraform, Ansible)2+ years of hands-on experience with multi-platform systems administration (Linux, Mac, Windows)2+ years of hands-on experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
