Northrop Grumman’s Manned Aircraft Design Center of Excellence located in Melbourne Florida has an immediate opening for an engineer specializing in subsystem design.

The chosen candidate will have a demonstrated ability to perform design of aircraft subsystems.

These subsystems include, but are not limited to, Environmental Control Systems, Fuel Systems, and Hydraulic Systems.

This role requires an individual with demonstrated ability to perform design of subsystem routings as well as integration of subsystem componentry.

This position will be permanently located in Melbourne, FL.

Some travel is required.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in engineering design or a Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university.

Active DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering plus a Master of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or Technical Management, or an MBA Experience with NX and TeamCenter Active DoD Secret Clearance Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
