Network Architect with VTC Expertise Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for Network Architects with VTC Expertise to supportthe USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). This position works at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. Shaw AFB is conveniently located. A 2-hour drive to the north gets you to Charlotte, NC, to the east is Myrtle Beach, and Charleston, SC is to the south. You’ll get to use leading edge technology as you sustain and defend the networks our Air Force warfighters use in the CENTCOM theater. What You’ll Get to Do: * Design, engineer, configure, install, integrate, and operate and maintain enterprise VTC hardware, software, services, and infrastructure.
* Support video products and platforms such as Cisco Meeting Server, WebEx, and VCS Express Way.
* Troubleshoot escalated issues to identify and repair complex LAN and WAN VTC connectivity issues, including but not limited to, QoS call routing and gateways.
* Analyze a myriad of networking metrics and recognize sub-par network performance.
* Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents. You’ll Bring These Qualifications: * Provide on-call support via cell phone after hours, on weekends and holidays as required.
* Deploy/travel to OCONUS locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to support sustainment operations, projects, and training as required (up to 25%).
Travel to CONUS locations as required. * Ability to obtain an Interim Top Secret clearance prior to start date. * B.S. in related field, and 5 or more years’ relevant experience; OR 7 or more years’ relevant IT experience. * Extensive knowledge of QoS and CAC and troubleshooting complex networks regarding call routing and gateways. * DoD 8570 IAT III Baseline Certification (CISSP, CCNP Security or equivalent). * CCNA * Completion of additional Professional Certifications within 6 months of your start date to remain on the program.
