Responsibilities:
The Candidate provides engineering/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipment. The Candidate provides naval architecture, marine engineering, electrical engineering and in-depth engineering support for the Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E); Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I); and mission equipment and systems installed aboard ships, boats, craft and targets, including Combat Logistics Force (CLF), Special Mission Ships, and FMS assets.
Requirements:
15+ years DoD/DoN program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
Understanding of: Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes; Ship Operations and/or shipboard testing; Supervisory experience; experience communicating with Program Management
Preferred: Professional Engineer License
Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering; Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering discipline
US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance
