n nn nnResponsibility:nExecuting technical feasibility assessments, solution estimations and proposal development for moving identified workloads to AzurenDeveloping technical and security specifications for the targeted applications/workloads in AzurenDevelop a migration approach to move workloads from On-Premises to Azure or develop new cloud-ready application solutionsnLead and mentor medium to large sized teams in the migration workloads or implementations of application and services to the cloud in large enterprise environmentsnInteracting with Customer and Persistent delivery teams (including partners) focused on solving mission-critical business and technology problems and provide solutions which center on the consumption of the Azure PlatformnDocument and share technical best practices and insights with the Customer and Persistent community, contributing to Persistent s repository of intellectual propertynWork with customer to understand their setup and create proposals for moving customer’s setup to Azure.nJob Description:nGood understanding of and experience in working on Microsoft Azure (IAAS/PAAS)nAbility to design cloud based solutionnAbility to create proposals for clientsnExperience in migrating on-premise solutions/applications to AzurenExperience / knowledge of other cloud offering (e.g.

AWS) will be added advantagenExperience in building C#.Net/ASP.net, Java, based solutionsnFamiliarity with DB designing / Migration desirablenGood understanding of HA/DR Setups in Cloudn nThe candidate should have experience on below areas and it should reflect in their resumes.n nMust have knowledge of Azure fundamentalsnMust have knowledge of Virtual machines (IAAS) and Cloud services (PAAS).nMust have knowledge about migrating on premise solutions/Apps to Azure.nMust have knowledge of developing Web Apps / designing DatabasesnGood to have knowledge of Cloud storage.nGood to have knowledge of Virtual networks, VPN Gateway, Hybrid connectivity etc.nKey Technical Skill: nIAAS/PASS, System Architecture, Web Apps, DB Design, HA Setupsn n “ideal” candidate would have the following traits:n n1.

Has been a “user”.

I.e.

was part of an enterprise IT organization as an architect or director.n2.

Knows Azure and SQL.n3.

Knows the following non-Microsoft technologies at a serviceable level and has managed at least a few of themna.

DevOps( Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible)n4.
