This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an estimated 2-6 years of mechanical engineering experience to take over plant projects that are planned to grow in responsibility over the next 5 years.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and facilitate communication and integration of plant priorities into short & long-term capital projects of $100,000
– $1,000,000 dollars.

Track budgetary costs utilizing a well-defined budget Participate in the plants reliability initiatives and play a big part in moving them forward.
Work with plant management to reach personal and professional goals in order to advance within the company.
Project Manager will identify and evaluate risk levels for each activity along with a backup plan should unforeseen issues arise during project implementation.
Assist in developing change control processes as changes occur during plant engineering, maintenance, reliability and capital improvement projects evolve over the life of the project Regularly interface with the management team to track plant improvement status.
Position will require you to lead internal and external personnel when the need arises.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required PMP Certification is a plus, but not mandatory 2-6 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of automation/robotics is a plus Individuals with a background in Plant Maintenance, Reliability or Project Engineering/Management will do very well in this role.
Knowledge of project controls (cost & schedule) programs is also a plus Should have a strong background using MS Office products
