Job Description: Minimum 5 years developing 3D models of aerospace structures and mechanisms Minimum 5 years developing space borne mechanical structures or mechanisms Strong proficiency in design and 3D modeling of solids, surfaces, and assemblies (Creo, NX, Catia, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor) Strong proficiency in creation of 2D engineering drawings – geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards Familiarity with structural analysis (FEA) of parts/assemblies Professional experience related to the design and manufacture of spaceborne hardware Familiarity with ISO 9000/AS-9100 Quality Management Systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma fundamentals.
Job Requirements: Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience .
