National defense and homeland security clients depend on our rapid, cost-effective development of adaptable, interoperable, integrated solutions that provide high performance in quick-response scenarios.This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearanceGeneral Responsibilities:SME responsible to transition existing on-premises infrastructure to a cloud architecture and maintain operational servicesCurrent infrastructure could include, but not limited to, physical/virtual servers, workstations, storage, networks, encryption technologies, software, databases, and other unique program of record servicesPerform analysis of current infrastructure and business processesWork with current and identify future customers to ensure their mission needs will be met with minimal impact during transitionFocus on integrating services defined in the MCIEE Blueprint and DCI road mapMigrate or re-engineer database design per requirements of analyst toolsEnsure requirements are captured and work with teammates to recommend best practices for a smooth cloud transition while maintaining high availabilityCreate and operate multiple cloud infrastructure environments based on best practices and maximizing vendor strengthsOther duties as requiredMandatory Skills Requirements :This position requires an active DoD TS//SCI ClearanceCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)Amazon Web Services Cloud certification is requiredAble to deploy, configure, maintain, secure, and enable high availability-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Hands-on cloud SME capable of entire lifecycle transition to cloud technologyMust be capable of performing analysis of current business processes and services providedKnowledge of available cloud services to make informed decisions on SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and Self-Hosted, or hybrid approachRecommend best practice approach of transition to cloud technologies or hybrid approachDevelop transition plan that keeps current stakeholders informed during the processDesign, Implement, and Automate environment creationDocument procedures, plans, testing, diagrams, maintenance, training, SLAs/OLAsMust be capable of training peers with administration/migration processesMust be capable of training customers of new processes/procedures resulting from cloud transitionMust be capable of scripting technologies and how to automate creation of cloud environmentFamiliar with implementing High Availability (HA) architecture, maximizing service uptimeMust be familiar with environment auto scaling and load balancingMust be familiar with DoD Cyber processes to include STIGsMust be familiar with transition of multiple OS technologies to include Windows and Linux servers and workstationsMust be familiar with backup and recovery/DR solutions and processes and recommend as requiredExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well independently and in a collaborative team environmentOther Skills Preferred:Familiar with Marine Corps processes, procedures, and interoperability requirementsFamiliar with similar transitions and can inform lessons learned as neededDepartment of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) development may be necessaryFamiliar with C2S, S-C2S, AWS, Azure MSO365 and Marine Corps Private Cloud technologies and dependenciesFamiliarity with the MCISRE and Blueprint servicesFamiliar with ESRI Enterprise service architectures and geodatabase systems, specifically ArcGIS PortalFamiliarity with FEDRAMP, NIST, RMF, and other process standardsExperience with manual and automated security administration, remediation, and hardening (STIG reviews, group policy and permissions, system modifications based on vulnerability scans, audits, and mitigations; patch management)Experience implementing and supporting enterprise system monitoring toolsMS Active Directory administration to include, but not limited to, Group Policy, Account Management, Domain Controllers, etc.Prior project management, team lead, and scrum master experiencePhysical requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
