**Responsibilities**.

The Lead Cloud Architect is an opportunity to join the Wellness Organization within Humana to build a world class enterprise data & technology platform and capabilities leveraging cloud, modern technology stack, and agile development methodologies.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Cloud Architect with experience building / migrating technology products in cloud environments, exercises independent judgment and decision making in determining the best course of action with authority.

This role involves using appropriate cloud services, technologies, tools, methodologies and solutions to make sure that the architecture is robust, integrated and aligned with the department and enterprise strategy to meet the long-term objectives of the organization.

The Lead Cloud Architect participates in all phases of product development to verify that the design is installed, configured and documented correctly to deliver a world class customer experience.

This role will also involve working with other enterprise architects & experts, reviewing/selecting enterprise technology tools and processes, designing solutions and overseeing the delivery of those solutions..

**Required Qualifications**.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.

+ 8 or more years of technical experience directly related to architecture/engineering, creating solution blueprints and other architectural artifacts.

+ Experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms and/or have great understanding of other public cloud computing architectures and services to operate with-in hybrid cloud strategy.

+ Experience executing cloud capacity planning, security initiatives.

+ Experience using technologies like Kafka, StreamSets, iOS/Android, MongoDB, dynatrace, and architecture patterns including APIs, Micro-services, event driven architecture, server less computing.

+ Knowledge of one of the major leading cloud data store offerings.

+ Strong verbal and written communications experience with using visual technical tools..

+ Ability to communicate complex technology and solution into simplest way to the leadership and the business partners is a must have to deliver desired product member experience.

+ Partner with business and IT leaders and architects to provide direction and architectural strategy advice on complex and dynamic use cases.

+ Experience working in Agile workplace with latest DevOps tools and principles to support High Performance Engineering goals.

+ Ability to draw ‘future of the wellness’ technology strategies for Wellness products keeping innovation, scale, and speed in mind to build world-class solutions, working in collaboration with the business partners..

+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

**Preferred Qualifications**.

+ Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.

+ Architecture Certification in one of the leading cloud platforms, Azure is preferred.

+ Experience in Healthcare / insurance will be a plus.

+ Prior experience of building Wellness oriented products is preferred.

+ Experience working in Azure DevOps setting.

+ Experience working in Scaled Agile environment.

+ Experience with Splunk, and cloud logging and monitoring.
