This individual will lead a team of developers and collaborate extensively with experienced project managers, user experience specialists, visual designers, analysts, and client resources to build enterprise systems that improve Marketing functions and support business operations.

Being able to mind merge the different disciplines into a cohesive marketing software engine is what makes this person more highly evolved, than their past coding years.

This position reports directly to the CTO.We’ve Got: * Fast-paced, high octane work environment in a creative space* Chance to work with exciting clients on highly visible web projects* Competitive salary* Full health and benefits package* 401(k) match* Paid time off* Education and training assistanceResponsibilities: * Lead to define the solution architecture for eCommerce, Web experience, and Marketing automation API projects that drive engagement and conversion for our clients.* Ensure proper timelines and budget constraints are met during the delivery process* Help in pre-sales activities while prospecting new business as the SME* Facilitate development of an architectural blueprint schematic, feature specifications, and detailed technical design schematics.* Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis activities such as storyboarding, use cases, and creating functional requirements specifications.* Develop features in .NET custom applications and .NET components for SharePoint solutions to meet feature specifications and technical designs.* Create and build out database models using SQL Server, then surface data to user interfaces by using object oriented techniques, often using object-to-relational mappers.* Create web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Javascript (specifically jQuery)* Create web user interface server-side functionality using ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, and SharePoint.* Oversee unit and system testing focused on features.* Create, facilitate, and monitor results of acceptance testing procedures.* Create and facilitate performance and load testing procedures and issue remediation* Transition projects to ongoing support/maintenance teamsYou’ve Got: * Experience with designing large, enterprise-focused relational databases, optimizing database structure for performance and/or maintainability, and the ability to design and optimize stored procedures.* Experience with establishing project usage procedures for source control, work item tracking, and build management with Team Foundation Server (or similar).* Deep hands-on knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012, C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC), ADO.Net, jQuery, and CSS.* Strong experience working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).* Hands-on experience designing and building scalable web applications, particularly building high frequency and low latency web applications with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability.* Be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.Layer One Media is an equal opportunity employer and does not unlawfully discriminate against any applicant or candidate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other class protected by federal or state law.Job Type: Full-time
