IT Director for a Premier Architecture Firm Are you looking for a dynamic IT Director role with a leading architectural organization that has been successfully serving clients for almost half a century? Our client is looking for a leader to work with a highly effective and experienced team. This full-time position provides excellent compensation, additional earnings incentives and comprehensive benefits. Located in the Charlotte, NC area and Dallas, TX area, our client has 4 decades of successful growth and their customers look to them for industry leading custom designs. In this role you will establish operational excellence by aligning organizational and technology strategies to meet the business workflow requirements. You will be leading a support structure for ERP, CRM and other mediums of technical infrastructure. Developing IT staff, streamlining processes, maintaining efficient and high-quality IT operations, creating and managing budgets and oversight of vendors and contracts, will be key areas of focus. Location Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX Type Direct Hire Start ASAP Position Responsibilities Oversee all enterprise technology operations. Analyze business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs. Investigate and convey technical problems and provide recommended solutions and resolution. Manage various IT related projects to ensure successful completion which includes feasibility research, estimation of project timelines and expenditures. Manage, mentor and develop internal talent. Ensure customer service excellence by overseeing and prioritizing timely issue resolution and comprehensive, effective closure. Build and manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and consultants and creating efficient contracts. Analyze company s data management needs. Understand and ensure proper security protocols and standards for network protection. Develop, control and report on IT budgets and expenditures. Requirements Proven successful IT department leadership experience. Well-rounded technical background. Experience with Microsoft Technology Stack is preferred Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory. BABS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a related field or extensive work experience. Nice to Have but Not a Must Experience in Architecture or Engineering or Construction or Design industries is a plus. Experience with cloud migrations would be helpful.
