RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Philadelphia, PA.
Key Tasks: Infrastructure Engineer will maintain the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure including monitoring the operating environments; Responding to incidents, problems and planning for growth Build and evolve our production cloud infrastructure, strategically employing automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) Plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and applications software; Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will administer Windows Unix and VMware servers and related subsystems Administer and support Active Directory, DNS, NPS, and DHCP Demonstrate the ability to design, build and maintain network and connectivity components within the enterprise network Infrastructure Engineers effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users, both orally and written Build strong relationships with cross-functional team members and business stakeholders Identify and troubleshoot network and routing issues Provide advanced support to Client Services team and on call support as needed Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Understanding of networking technologies and protocols (Local area networking, DNS, Security, IP routing, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, SMTP, BGP, etc.) Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers and/or serverless technology Experience with infrastructure and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, etc.) Knowledgeable in one or more scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Perl, etc.) Ability to tailor communication to a variety of individuals, including end-users, executives, managers, and vendors Strong technical and communications documentation skills Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
Understanding computer operating systems (server and desktop), hardware, protocols, and standards Comfortable with fast-moving work environment with quick iterations Experience managing and troubleshooting networks including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, etc.
Experience with Microsoft technology stack (Active Directory, MS SQL, etc.) Experience managing Office 365 Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
