Currently we are looking for an In-Vehicle Solution Architect in the Automotive Connected Mobility domain. As a In-Vehicle Solution Architect, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and grow business in the connected vehicle domain. Being part of the company’s core team in Connected Mobility, your fields of focus will include vehicle software, Remote Diagnostics & Repair, OTA and edge computing.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Automotive Business Development team owning the technical engagement with the customers and helping them to reach the ultimate success around specific initiatives.
- Engage with prospects and customers in the automotive industry, helping to shape their mobility/connected vehicle strategy and working to become the customer’s trusted advisor and solution partner on this topic.
- Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for the customers, whether they are looking to design new systems or migrating their existing environments.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community as well as with the automotive industry.
- Understand the automotive market segments and customer base and help to position & define the company’s mobility solutions with the needs of this industry in mind.
- Location: Munich Stuttgart Braunschweig Ingolstadt.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in the automotive industry or having consulted customers in the industry.
- Technical degree required; Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Maths background highly desired.
- Strong Automotive know how.
- Strong expertise on automotive embedded Software Architecture for Microprocessor based systems.
- Consultative skills.
- Good understanding of application as well as complex system architectures.
- Ability to go deep on technical aspects to understand current and future customer needs and present the company’s solutions benefits.
- Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations in a global and multicultural environment.
- Excellent English, articulate, good presentation and negotiation skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge on Automotive Diagnostics and diagnostic communication protocols such as UDS, DoIP.
- Knowledge in the domain of flashing/ coding UDS ECUs.
- Knowledge on Service-Oriented Architecture.
- Knowledge on AUTOSAR Adaptive.
- Familiar with modern agile concepts.
- Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired.
- Experience with architecting and implementing Connected Vehicle solutions.
