To learn more about our gypsum products, visitwww.Gpgypsum.Com and https://youtu.Be/6GHIm5A0sKs.What You Will Do In Your Role:Working a 12 hour night shiftEnsuring all activities are aligned to with Georgia-Pacific’s Market Based Management® philosophy and Guiding PrinciplesManaging electrical controls and computer systems to drive and support overall plant performance through improved plant uptime and machine utilizationDriving and supporting instrumentation and electrical preventive and predictive maintenance functions and repairing instrumentation, electrical controls, electrical equipment and functions in the facility and other related duties.

(Electrical systems, VFDs, servo motors, flowmeters, load cells, batching scales, RTDs, thermocouples, level transmitters, etc.)Recommending and supporting maintenance functions and electrical PM’s for the facility; to include reviewing/updating all existing PM’s and generating new PM’s per equipment as new equipment is installed or upgraded; work order, repairs, and improvement projects.Observing areas for plant improvements and presenting opportunities for ongoing improvement projectsPromoting safety through proactive involvement in safety training, alignment with the company’s risk tolerance, and implementation of Electrical Safe Work PracticesPossessing strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skillsPossessing a quest for knowledge/willingness to learn, a sense of urgency, self-motivation, humility, and the courage to ask for help when needed.The Experience You Will Bring:Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDOne of the following:Associates degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Instrumentation, or Electronic Technology AND at least two (2) years of proven electrical/electronic and/or instrument & control troubleshootingexperience in a manufacturing environment ORA minimum of three (3) years of proven electrical/electronic or instrument & control systems troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in diagnosing, programming, repairing, and replacing variable frequency drivesExperience in diagnosing and repairing various electrical and electronic equipment ranging in voltages from 24 VDC to 120 VAC.Comfortable working around electrical gear up to 15kV What Will Put You AheadPreferred Qualifications:Experience troubleshooting control systems, PLCs, HMI, instrumentation flowmeters, transmitters, photoeyes, proximity sensors, robotics, and other types of instrumentation and electronic componentsExperience with Allen-Bradley, Toshiba, Eurotherm, Yasakawa, Reliance, and GE drives.Experience with power distribution systems and components, including 3-phase motor controls, 480V A/C systems, and low voltage D/C systemsMechanical maintenance experience, including fluid handling and conveyor systems, hydraulic systems and accumulators, and valve identification and application and weldingExperience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCsExperience and proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Want to learn more about Georgia-Pacific?Georgia-Pacific and its subsidiaries are among the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of tissue, paper-based packaging, office papers, cellulose, specialty fibers, non-woven fabrics, building products and related chemicals.
