Yellow Dot is seeking an RNC Estimator to join our Raleigh, NC team Yellow Dot is a premier service company providing air conditioning, heating repair service, HVAC sales, and maintenance service in the Raleigh area since 2002.

As the RNC Estimator, your essential responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Primarily responsible for estimating Residential New Construction jobs.

Perform job cost reports and compare the final actual to estimated costs.

Leverage customer relationship management (CRM) software to track initiatives, customer engagements, and deliverables.

Analyze local market and suggest new products, services, and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction, increase market share and drive engagement to create loyalty with customers.

Ability to think creatively, self-starting and motivated.

Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to build trust and rapport with direct reports and across the organization.

Provide administrative support internally within the department as needed Must be able to produce accurate and clear proposals for a broad range of RNC Customers.

Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum (2) year experience with Microsoft Suite/Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) Must be familiar with take-offs and load calculations including Manual J, Manual D, and Manual S.

Valid Driver’s License.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

HVAC industry knowledge and experience desirable.

Must possess at least one (1) year as an Estimator.

Knowledge of Energy Star and building practices is a plus.

Knowledge of Wrightsoft is a plus.

Required Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Persistence in conquering objectives.

Skill in both verbal and written communication.

Strong computer skills are essential; computer proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Heightened focus on providing excellent customer service.
