Estimator

Job Description Summary: The Estimator is responsible for quantifying & pricing in coordination with the Estimating team.

Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: Quantify project components assigned by the leading estimator Visit project site to understand site conditions/restrictions Accurately utilize project plans and specifications to interpret and decipher scopes of work Create cost estimates based on assigning crews (labor and equipment), productions, schedules, materials and subcontracting Provide preliminary project schedule data for your scopes of work Work with the team to close the estimate Coordinate with subcontractors & suppliers Enter quotations (pricing) from subcontractors/suppliers into HCSS estimates Research pricing for estimates based on historical and regional costs Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values And other duties as assigned Required Experience: Experience in estimating Water and Wastewater piping; both yard piping and process piping and valves Familiarity with vendor market relative to DI piping and valves Analytical background (math, science, etc.) Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Experience (not required): BS Degree or above 2 years of experience as an Estimator or office/field engineer CAD HCSS Software Primavera P6 AGTEK iSQFT procurement software
