Electrical Maintenance Technician / Industrial Electrician – 1st Shift

J Rettenmaier USA LP is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their Schoolcraft team.

Hours are 6:00am – 2:30pm Monday- Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installs, maintains and repairs electrical systems and installations as instructed.
• Creates, maintains and modifies PLC & HMI codes per company standards.

Duties:

• Maintain all electrical systems and installations through regular preventative maintenance following established schedules.
• Troubleshoot & repair electrical installations as needed.
• Support maintenance of all production equipment.
• Install new equipment.
• Work with programming software to create new, make modifications, and maintain PLC system.
• Lead small group of electricians (JRS or contractors) to implement projects or resolve issues as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

• High School diploma.
• 5+ years electrical maintenance job experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education.
• Experienced with electrical safety codes, Confined space policies, and Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• PLC knowledge, programming & troubleshooting.
