Key Role: Work with the Custom Electronic Systems (CES) team in the architecture, design, testing, manufacturing, and support of prototype products for a wide variety of clients and industries in government and law enforcement. Work as a junior electrical engineer to design, test, and integrate printed circuit boards, including component identification, library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, Gerber or ODB++ file creation, functional and performance analysis, and verification. Work with Booz Allen’s extensive network of engineering experts in multiple disciplines and expand your design skill set by developing exciting new products that make a difference. Basic Qualifications: * Experience working with multi-layered boards * Experience in hand-soldering circuits, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT) * Knowledge of basic mixed-signal circuit design techniques * Secret clearance * Bachelor’s degree Additional Qualifications: * Experience using Altium Designer for both schematic capture and PCB layout * Experience with FPGA development, digital signal processing, firmware, and software coding * Knowledge of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) best practices Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
