As part of the Operational Data Portfolio Team, you will be challenged daily to find innovative solutions to improve the speed and consumption of our information.
This will also bring you into contact with a diverse array of stakeholders ranging from IT to our front line business organizations, and you will be working on defining the MDM/RDM solution architecture which establishes the foundational data layer for Edward Jones.What you’ll do: You will lead the solution architecture for the MDM/RDM teams.
We will be looking to master Client, Account, Security and Reference data using Informatica MDM Work with enterprise architecture and portfolio architects to define and obtain consensus of the designed architecture Work with the team to build out the MDM data quality and data load rules in Informatica MDM.
Help team to build out ETL framework for data ingress, develop and extend the data model and deliver performant code and tuned database.
Hands on development lead to build out API framework Actively pursues pure research across multiple layers and or disciplines; assists in the deployment of new technologies not previously in use at Edward Jones.
Must apply architecture principles across multiple layers to solve business or technical problems Keeps abreast of current developments and trends in multiple areas of expertise Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments Strong Analytical and technical skills are required Good communication and presentation skills to be able to interact with business stakeholders Work closely with support teams, systems and business leads to promote technical and functional upgrades, enhancements and best practices/industry standards Focus on continuous improvement to drive a seamless, modernized associate/user experience Participate in the analysis, design, develop, testing, and implementation activities within the areas of responsibility Assist, mentor and train other team members Work closely with support teams and support manager to address incidents and problem queues, ensuring proper prioritizationPosition Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering or Management Information Technology preferred or related work experience Minimum 15 years of experience across multiple technology areas.
Must have international experience.
Must be able to design and develop IT architecture solutions to support firm business strategies.
Must be able to solve technical challenges in critical situations that require immediate resolution.
Researches requirements to determine system feasibility, costs, business benefits, or functional requirements.
Proficient in leading IS problem solving Expert in our system and business operations Modern knowledge across multiple IS disciplines including but not limited to Network, Mainframes, Storage, relational databases, and Web development.
Specific modern knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Standard IBM products (Z/OS, CICS and DB2), Standard Microsoft products (Vista, XP, Exchange, Office, Outlook), J2EE, Java, Oracle and Linux.
Participates in discovering talent both organically and externally Ability to influence all levels in a matrixed organization Establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business areas, and vendors.
