This individual will be responsible for setting the enterprise-level technical direction in alignment with our strategic cloud roadmap.
By migrating our technology platforms to the cloud, this person will assist in our cloud transformation goals of increased business agility, elastic scalability, enhanced security, and reduction in our support for on-premise commodity solutions.The Technical Architect will be responsible for working across all areas of Information Systems (IS), providing leadership on technology selection and operational processes for running core IS systems in a cloud environment.
In addition, this role will establish a cloud technology governance program, collaborating with stakeholders across IS, Finance, and other business units.Minimum 8 years experience in cybersecurity as a practitioner and with at least 5+ years exposure with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure Experience with architecting Multi-cloud environmentsMust have experience working across multiple large scale cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.Must be experienced in creating a strategic cyber security technology direction, aligning it with tactical activities, and communicating plans broadly across the organizationMust be able to communicate effectively across multiple audiences, including firm-wide business units, senior leaders, associates, external vendors, Familiarity with security solutions such as Twistlock and Aqua Security, as well as tool such as Docker, Kubernetes and AWS CloudTrail.Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Atlas, Snowflake, etc.)Experienced in cloud networking architecture and cloud operations, with cloud access security broker (CASB) Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Chef, Experience and understanding of various regulatory requirements and laws, including but not limited to: Payment Card Industry (PCI), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).
Additionally, experience in one or more of the following: ISO 27001/2, ITIL or NIST is preferred FORTUNE 2020 Edward Jones was named No.
