Responsibilities: Work with Sales, Management, Sales Operations and Enablement to develop and execute Solution Architecture strategy Work with Solution Architect team to address technical needs of customers and close new business.
Serve as a counselor and advisor to Sales and Solution Architecture to help guide deals through the sales cycle Effectively communicate internally across departments and deliver cross-functional solutions for the needs of the Sales and Solution Architecture team Plan, direct, and execute education and continuing enablement of the Solution Architecture team Comfortable talking to prospects and customers in both friendly and high-tension situations and providing guidance to the Solution Architecture team to do the same Take an insightful, consultative, and strategic approach to Solution Architecture leadership Regularly interact across functional areas with Senior Management or Executives to ensure objectives are met Operationalize the big-picture visions of the Executive Team Strategic Planning and deployment of Solution Architecture resources Attract, develop, and motivate a team of high-performing Solution Architects, continually educating the team and seeking innovative solutions for improving the Sales team Revenue and Prospect/Customer focused operations Develop product expertise to convey the value, benefits and differentiators Coordinating with Project Management, Customer Success, Professional Services and Technical Operations during customer handoffs Help accelerate the team’s product and solution understanding for increased competency during the sales cycle Participating in new hire training sessions Developing learning plans and setting goals with Solution Architects to ensure continued growth in both soft and technical skills Provide technical and business leadership for the SA organization promoting leadership by example Maintain, grow and manage existing business relationships Take an active role in your regions CSM team to help resolve any customer satisfaction issues Support field SA team in complex evaluations, troubleshooting, and challenging customer environments.
Qualifications Requirements: 8 years of enterprise Solution Architecture/Pre-sales experience Ability to travel 50%, or as needed 3 years of demonstrated management or supervisory-level experience with Solution Architecture/Pre-sales.
Excellent presentation and demonstration skills Strong leadership ability Hands on approach to problem solving and preparedness to work opportunities directly alongside the team when needed Confident influencing and engaging with a highly skilled and experienced audience including C-level executives Experience with strategic planning and setting strategies for sales teams Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks effectively Team player with strong intrapersonal skills Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration Passionate about building great teams Solid track record of building relationships and collaborating at all levels of the organization.
