What you’ll achieveThe Telecom Services Presales Solutions Architect role will support Telco customers as an end-to-end Telco Solutions and Services Architect in pursuits that will combine Telco industry knowledge and technical expertise with innovative thought and strategic guidance.
This role is seeking an individual with understanding & experience with 4G/5G wireless, Open RAN, Virtualized Telco Core Edge, and Transport network design, deployment, system integration, optimization, and network management.
TheTelecom Services Presales Solutions Architect will support large RFI/RFP/RFQ’s through the PreSales process.You will:Analyze & Identify Customer Services Objectives/Requirements within Telco RFI/RFP/RFQ & unsolicited bidsAct as the Pre-sales Custom solutioning Telco expert to the sales pursuit strategyCollaborate with Telco Domain subject matter experts to design Telco network Solutions and services that meet customer objectivesCreate deliverables, responses and Statements of Work based on the designed SolutionOwn cost modelling and related governance processes for Solution Sign-offCollaborate cross functionally across Dell’s Telco business unit and participate in all Internal stakeholder meetings (Sales, PMO, Delivery, Partners) to share details of the RFP/RFI, response and answering questions from a Telco perspectiveFacilitate customer presentations at senior leadership level or higher Take the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline and 12+ years of overall wireless telecom industry experience as a service provider and/or equipment vendor architecting End to End technical, services, integration, and business needs of the disaggregated, Virtualized and Open network based Telco networksAbility to translate customer vision and requirements into technical services and solution for presales motions, service delivery and executionExperience in putting an End to End Services proposal together, including efforts estimations and costing of various services cost leversStrong knowledge of End to End services solutions for 4G/5G and IT network architecture across Core, Edge, RAN, Transport, Virtual/Cloud environments, orchestration and FCAPS platformsDemonstrated experience and knowledge across Telco services domains – Deploy, Support, Design, Planning, Consulting, System Integration, and Network OperationsDemonstrated experience to lead cross functional teams and multi geographical locations to develop, communicate and present End to End architectures, services solutions, and strategies to meet the customer’s needs Desirable RequirementsAt least 5+ years of technical Services pre-sales and architecture experience for large enterprises and Telecom Operators working with global clients on multi-year Network/IT transformational engagementsTechnical knowledge and experience in one or more of these domains: SDN, NFV, Saas, IaaS, PaaS, AI & Machine learning, IOTProgram Management and/or Consulting experience desired.
