And we back our solutions with the service levels customers need to run and transform their business.Responsibilities:Consult with customer in regards to any changes in architectural direction and/or growth, Logical and Physical allocation of resources and upgrades to SW & HW Help document best practices in developing and deploying cloud-centric solutions including but not limited to VMware, Azure Stack, Public Clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP) and OpenStackApply best practices, strategies, methodologies, and approaches to support multi and hybrid cloud environmentPerform capacity, availability, issue resolution and change management processes for multi and hybrid cloud environments Scale cloud components by forecasting needs and adding or removing components as neededUpgrade cloud and installed backing services and infrastructure Qualifications:8 years of professional experience supporting production medium to large scale environments8 years industry experience in Data Center, Virtualization and Cloud Management technologies 6 years’ experience in virtualization technologies (VMWare, OpenStack, Public Clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP, KVM, Xen etc)Solid experience with VCF on VxRailExpert knowledge on vRealize Orchestrator, vRealize Automation Center, vRealize Operations Manager, vRealize Business, VMware and vRealize Log InsightIn-depth knowledge of network and distributed internet technologies including TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers and web application architecture especially NSXStrong experience in scripting including Bash, Perl, Python and Unix shellExpert knowledge of DevOps technologies, especially Puppet and ChefDell Technologies is a unique family of businesses that helps organizations and individuals build their digital future and transform how they work, live and play—providing customers with the industry’s broadest and most innovative technology and services portfolio.
