Perficient is looking for an experienced Cloud Data Solution Architect to join our Healthcare Business Unit.

Job Overview

The Technical Architect provides technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. As a Technology Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients’ business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design/Develop Reference Implementations and Proof of Concept (POCs) to validate design and assist business stakeholders in envisioning the solution
• Reference Implementation/POCs require hands on data architecture to support API / Microservice development and BI Analytics / Dashboards
• Understand the current design/architecture/implementation of existing solutions and new create architectural designs documents
• Review stakeholder business requirements and translate them into a high-level technical approach to bridge the gap between design and business requirements
• Provide technical leadership from vision to delivery leveraging agile methodologies
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in AWS Cloud including RDS, Redshift and Glue
• 3 years of hand-on experience on big data projects
• Experience processing large volumes of data using Python, Spark, PySpark etc for analytical solutions
• Experience working with Loading, extracting data from Glue, SQL, DDL, DML commands
• Stong understanding of streaming technologies including experience working with Kafka
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Cognos etc.) and define data consumption patterns for BI Analytics, ML and AI needs
• Knowledge of API/Microservice implementation patterns
• Good understanding of Data integration, Data Quality, Data Architecture and Data Governance principles
• Experience handling un-structured, semi-structured data, working in a data lake environment
• Data architecture working with relational and no-sql Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
• Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data a plus
• Experience working with Athena / Presto
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies

Preferred Skills And Education

• Experience working with a globally distributed team
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equal related experience
• Certification in AWS preferred
• Experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical documents
• Healthcare Domain experience will be huge plus
