Communication and coordination across the organization – the Disaster Recovery Director must demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills..

Understand and interpret regulatory guidance, business needs, and our client obligations..

Review BCM Process and all documentation around BCP and DR and make any necessary changes/improvements..

Works with the Senior Director to create and update the Disaster Recovery strategy, reviews existing Disaster Recovery.

elements and creates additional strategic program steps as required..

Conducts a periodic business impact assessment and updates the list of critical systems..

Creates a Crisis Management Plan..

Creates and leads a Disaster Recovery Oversight Committee..

Formally documents and works with Enterprise Business Continuity to detail the Freedom Mortgage Business Continuity communication..

Formulates and run Disaster Recovery tests and events..

Triages and communicates disaster recovery gaps and works to resolve gaps for continuous improvement..

Provides visibility to and reports Disaster Recovery planning and reporting..

Work collaboratively to maintain the Disaster Recovery plan, diagrams, workflows and inventories..

Works collaboratively with all necessary IT teams to ensure successful Disaster Recovery execution..

10 years experience with fundamental IT concepts, infrastructure & datacenter technologies is required.

2+ years experience with AWS.

Familiarity with networking.

Solid experience with creating Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs and conducting successful BCP tests of primary locations..

Must be a proven subject matter expert with demonstrated competency in the planning, development, program execution, disaster recovery scenarios, maintenance and testing of an Enterprise Disaster Recovery program..

Experience creating and delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical staff..
