Cloud Architect (Perry Hall)

OneMain is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to manage the integration of public and private cloud infrastructure to provide efficient business solutions. This position will be responsible developing the governance models and workflows around cloud consumption. The position will also make recommendations to leadership concerning the company s cloud computing strategy, cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring with the goal of delivering best in class solutions to business partners.

The cloud architect will provide technical leadership in the following areas:

• Architecture design and implementations in AWS, Azure, GCP

• Provide technical architecture leadership and direction on projects resulting in scalable, reliable, and maintainable platforms

• Define, Implement, and document operational processes and procedures

• Enable our product development team to deliver new code daily through Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines

• Mentor team members and provide hands on technical delivery of projects

• Self-motivated with the ability to take on technical challenges and have fun solving business problems

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Compute

• Experience designing hybrid cloud environments

• Experience documenting governance and workflows associated with cloud environments

• Deep understanding and experience of scaling cloud environments for business needs including understanding current/future business requirements, cost associated with scale, and ROI associated with cloud technologies

• Experience designing highly available technology systems

• Experience with enterprise migrations from on-prem equipment to cloud environments

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer engineering or related field

• 5+- years of infrastructure solutions background

• Enterprise infrastructure solutions background

• Coding/scripting experience in Ansible, PowerShell, and Terraform or similar (Chef, Puppet, Salt).

• Experience transforming legacy solutions to the cloud a plus
