Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%.

KPMG is currently seeking a Cloud Architect to join our Advisory Technology Organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with various projects, internal (e.g., Cloudneeti, WVD, Monitoring, etc.) and external/custom solution (e.g., KME, Ignite, R Studio Platform, etc.)
• Interface directly with the business stakeholders, solution teams, and DSG to translate requirements into architecture patterns that are ultimately handed off to a build team
• Assist the senior architect research, document and approve potential architectures
• Create architecture diagrams; document and manage scope of designs; research emerging technologies
• Create proof of concepts for the benefit of proving out design recommendation; convert architecture diagrams into user stories
• Adhere to standards (CloudOps, KPMG, and external if applicable)

Qualifications:

• Minimum seven years of recent Microsoft Azure experience
• Bachelors degree in a related field from a leading accredited college or university preferred
• Preferred experience Containers / AKS, Linux (RHEL) and Databricks / Synapse / Data Factory
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
