This position is responsible for work on public work projects including site design, drainage studies & reports, drainage structure design, mitigation of impacts, wet utilities and roadway design using Civil 3D. Responsibilities may also include land development of projects such as residential subdivisions and commercial site engineering, includes working on due diligence reports, rezone petitions, concept plans, design development, construction plans, permitting, specifications assembly, cost estimating, and construction administration.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform Civil engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of site facilities, drainage features, roadways, minor structures, site earthwork grading plans, channels, irrigation projects, pipelines, water and sewage systems.

ESSENTIAL:

Civil Engineer candidate must have excellent communication skills (oral and written) with clients and permitting agencies. Candidate must be able to adhere to the codes of differing permitting agencies.

The candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D in design of public works projects, residential, commercial, and industrial projects of all sizes from field to finish.

Design/CAD drafting responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

• Project time estimation, setup, scheduling, document management and time management
• Topographic Mapping drawings
• Site Plans
• Roadway Design
• Grading/Drainage Plan design and drawings
• Storm Sewer Plan and Profile design and drawings
• Sanitary Sewer design and drawings
• Water Main design and drawings
• Paving Plan and Profile design and drawings
• Soil Erosion & Sedimentation Control Plan design. permitting and drawings
• As built plans
• Perform quality control of engineering design projects
• Survey drafting experience with drawing tracing legal descriptions, ALTA and Boundary.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work hours may vary slightly over 40 hours but paid for every hour worked.
• Must be accustomed to working in an outside environment and be willing to work outdoors in any weather;
• Must work well under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment;
• The ability to read plans, specifications, diagrams, equipment submittals and material data sheets;

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor s Degree Civil Engineering
• WY PE license or ability to obtain PE within 6 months.

Competitive compensation; benefits package including health insurance, vacation, holiday pay, 401(k) savings plan.

Compensation is dependent upon skills and experience-$75K to $90K.
