The Solution Manager Manufacturing Infrastructure & Operations role will manage manufacturing platform infrastructure services, including those provided by internal resources and outsourced managed services partners for more than 40 distributed manufacturing and office locations.
This role will ensure operational excellence for distributed technology solutions, manage regional service delivery, enforce global operational standards, manage distributed infrastructure with partner resources and act as subject matter expert of distributed infrastructure providing Level 3 and Level 4 escalation support.
In this role you will report to the Director Manufacturing Infrastructure & Operations Essential responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Regional Service Delivery Management for manufacturing infrastructure and operations to Campbells manufacturing sites, business partners and end users.Stakeholder facing role ensuring Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs.Monitor, control, and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed.Owner of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes for the Manufacturing IT Service Area, ensuring high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities.As owner of the escalation process the Service Delivery Manager will take ownership of major incidents to ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review.Drive service review meetings as to performance, service improvements, quality, and processes.Coordination of internal and partner resources for manufacturing site IT initiatives and projects.Maintain and provide technical oversight and adherence to all Service Management disciplines.
Serve as the Subject matter expert of manufacturing IT technology solutions including virtual platform and manufacturing end user technology.Development of standardized operations and support for platform and plant floor IT infrastructure.Level 4 technical escalation support to manufacturing facilities for platform infrastructure and plant floor IT hardware.Ensuring hardware and software inventories and documentation aligned with partner resources.
Coordinate and maintain architecture road maps.
Job ComplexityDeliver manufacturing IT operational excellence with the support of Managed Service Partners.Understand the niche requirements of the manufacturing facility, how Manufacturing IT Service Domain supports those requirements, and critically review how IT operational support processes can be improved.Ensure IT partners consistently deliver the highest level of support of all manufacturing IT solutions following established standardized support process and procedures.
Applies new ideas to problems to fostering an environment that encourages innovation.
Consistently exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Provide multi-tier support to all departments and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure appropriate support of all business activities.Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences Strong critical thinking and analytical skills in a complex technical and support environment.Develop deep understanding of business and KPIs which are critical to successfully supporting IT in the manufacturing environment.
We are looking for the following abilities and skills:Education Required: Bachelor degree in computer science or related field.Experience Required: 5 years infrastructure technology experience working in manufacturing setting.1-2 years infrastructure experience as a service manager.
Working Conditions:Anticipated travel of up to 20%-30% which may include the following:World Headquarters (WHQ) Office, Research Kitchen, Pilot Plant, and Manufacturing Plants (Campbell Soup Company (CSC), co-manufacturers and vendors).A significant portion of the job is in the production environment; thus, the work exposes the employee to food products requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
Ability to walk/stand up at times for up to of the workday.Physical ability to handle weights of up to approximately fifty (50) pounds.
