PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT
As a Principal Architect, you’ll apply your business consulting, analytical, communications, and creative skills to help stakeholders articulate enterprise content management (ECM) needs and pain points; identify opportunities for improvement; and visualize future business operations and use cases for enterprise content management.

You’ll partner with business leaders, product teams, and domain architects to develop a comprehensive and compelling vision and strategy, as well as requirements and process improvements for enterprise content management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Vision and Strategy – Lead development of a comprehensive vision and strategy for enterprise content management.

• Current State Assessment – Lead preparation of an ECM Landscape Assessment that clearly describes content services capabilities, assesses their performance and maturity, and assesses the health and status of associated people, process, and technology enablers.

• Target Architecture – Provide thought leadership in the preparation of a clear, compelling conceptual architecture and concept of operations for ECM that aligns with s enterprise architecture.

• Platform Requirements – Lead development of content management platform requirements and selection criteria.

• Solution Alternatives Assessment – Conduct targeted market survey to identify solution alternatives that align with the target architecture and platform requirements.

Assess viability of content management / service platforms in the client’s technology portfolio for possible reuse / enhancement.

Support preparation and execution of request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP), including vendor / product evaluation and scoring.

• Business Case and Call to Action – Lead the preparation of a clear, compelling business case that provides quantitative and qualitative justification for recommended course(s) of action, including platform, organizational enhancements, and process improvements.

• Roadmap and Plan – Support the preparation and management of a roadmap and plan for the enterprise content services program.

Provide updates to the roadmap and plan as needed at key program decision points.
REQUIREMENTS

• 11+ years of experience leading holistic, transformational, vision and strategy engagements.

• Expertise / experience assessing, selecting and deploying enterprise content management or content services solutions.

(PREFERRED)

• Deep understanding of content service, content management, and/or knowledge management capabilities, frameworks, and processes.

(PREFERRED)

• Ability to motivate and influence others so that project objectives are met in a timely manner.

• Effective organizational, interpersonal/relationship management, analytical, communications (written and verbal), and collaboration.

Ability to effectively communicate and engage with C-level executives.
