WHAT YOU’LL DO The Cloud Application Services squad at BCG is seeking a candidate for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer role to be an integral part of our agile team.
The incumbent for this role will help architect and implement technical solutions across the full suite of BCGs DevOps tools targeting internal audiences and Alternate Business Models.
The candidate must be open minded and interested in continuous learning, while being curious and unafraid to ask questions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate: * Bringing deep experience with AWS Cloud Platform * Experience as a system administrator in maintaining infrastructure (firewalls, VPCs) and Linux VMs * Knowledge of Docker containers and hosting them on Kubernetes clusters * Being on top of the latest security best practices and how to implement strong security / DevSecOps * Supporting the upgrade and maintenance of platforms and cloud infrastructure (Dev and Prod) * Automating and proactively improving operations around environment provisioning, installation, upgrade and maintenance * Architecting, developing, and deploying tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting * Setting up CI/CD Pipelines to automate builds and deployments using Git Actions/Jenkins * Automating and proactively improving operations around environment provisioning, installation, upgrade and maintenance * Translating SonarQube vulnerabilities into actions and execute on them * Strong analytical abilities and creative problem solving * Working independently with general direction and flexibility in a fast-paced environment * Integrity and a positive attitude, especially while handling stressful situations * Working with project stakeholders (technical as well as end users) to understand business requirements and implement solutions for diverse problems * The ability to research viable technical and/or non-technical solutions, evaluate new technology and advocate, influence, and build consensus for innovations that satisfy business needs YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) * Bachelors/Masters degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field * At least 9+ year of relevant work experience in DevOps maintaining and managing pipelines * Experience and proven success in working with fast moving, globally distributed tech teams and going above and beyond to make things happen * Experience in deploying/maintaining infrastructure platforms & software solutions (ideally AWS) * Experience building and deploying stateful and stateless AWS/Azure Applications * Experience working on cloud-based services (including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) with a solid understanding of continuous integration, delivery and deployment challenges, Configuration management best practices for developing and deploying cloud applications * Deep understanding of latest DevOps tooling and practices * High proficiency with monitoring tools * Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders * Excellent knowledge of technical and infra architectures (hosting, security, Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker) * Experience with managing Infra including designing HA, Backup and Restore, DR * Bash/PowerShell Scripting (CloudFormation, Azure Resource Templates, Terraform) and automation skills YOU’LL WORK WITH You will be a member of the Cloud Application Services Squad.
You will have significant responsibility in building, maintaining and improving our tech-stack on AWS, as well as providing world-class service to our stakeholders.
