Find your future with us.The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer 3: Training Systems Architect to work on the Training Systems Program in Hazelwood, MO or Orlando, FL.
As the System Architect you will work with customers, stakeholders and suppliers to define and establish high-level solutions.
As a member on our Training Systems multidiscipline Agile Release Train (ART) you will work with a team of talented engineers to define system architectures and designs that meet and exceed customer expectations enabling them to prepare and train for their missions.
The successful candidate will also be part of an exciting new venture into Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Product Line Engineering (PLE) development.
As a System Architect, you will work directly with a team of system architects, architects and engineers to help define and refine processes, methodologies and standards for implementation of these tools across a multitude of diverse product development teams.
The results will have far reaching impact on engineering teams around the world, helping engineers create better designs and architectures.
Global Training Systems and Services (GTS& S) is responsible for designing, developing, building and delivering flight and maintenance training solutions to the warfighter.
The simulators developed are not off the shelf video games but are high fidelity, tech heavy, fully immersive training machines that allow the warfighter to maintain their mission readiness in their pursuit to defend freedom around the world.
GTS& S supports multiple aircraft and rotor-craft platforms, including the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, the P-8 Poseidon anti-surface/submarine warfare aircraft, the F-15, F-18, and F-22 tactical aircraft, the MQ-25 Stingray aerial refueling drone, the T-7 jet trainer, and the C-17 Globemaster responsible for decades of military and humanitarian efforts.
Position Responsibilities:Support the definition of processes, tools, and training to drive the adoption of MBSE on training systemsDevelop MBSE models in CAMEO to capture the integrated product architecture of training systemsWork with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solutionsApply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex system of systems and system solutionsDefine subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution contextParticipate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre and Post-PI Planning, System and Demos, and Inspect and Adapt eventsThis position allows telecommuting/hybrid.
The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S.
Security Clearance.
(A U.S.
Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) An interim and/or final U.S.
Secret Clearance Post-Start is require.
Export Control Requirement:This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.
120.15 is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics is required3+ years of experience in creating model based architectures1+ year experience modeling in Dassault Cameo Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with P-8 Training Systems and/or P-8 Mission Systems developmentExperience with product line engineering (PLE) tools Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.
Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.G.
PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility Travel: Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.
