If so, we might have just the opportunity you’re looking for!Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Infrastructure Assurance Analysis (IAA) group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a technical career as a Critical Infrastructure Vulnerability Coordination Analyst.This will be a key position within the (IAA) and supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity Division (CSD).Responsibilities Include:The primary focus of this position is to act as the interface between cyber security researchers, industrial control system vendors, and industrial control system end users.In this position, the ability to positively interact and coordinate with internal and external customers via verbal and written communications is critical.An essential function of this position is coordinating interactions and information sharing between the U.S.

Government, researchers, vendors, law enforcement, and academia that ultimately results in the production of cyber security incident reports, control system vulnerability reports, and mitigation plans that help end users secure their industrial control systems.This will require an understanding of and an ability to use digital forensics tools to capture data for technical analysis and open source research to determine mitigation techniques.Expected to voice opinions, offer solutions, and contribute technically to determining vulnerability reporting and incident response actions.Additional responsibilities include working with peers and senior engineers to identify security issues of existing platforms and applications and to conduct open source research to identify public disclosure of ICS vulnerabilities or incidents.The Analyst must be technically capable of analyzing reported vulnerabilities, understanding network security, and coordinating with researchers and vendors to work mitigation techniques that enhance the security of the nation’s critical infrastructure.In striving for continuous improve, the Critical Infrastructure Analyst will participate on project teams that define and develop requirements, provide documentation, build and maintain customer relationships, and support customer requests.Minimum Requirements:BS and 0 2 years or advanced degreewith 0-1 years of experienceThe ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance and additional special accesses as required.Must be willing and able to complete a polygraph examinationJob InformationSalary Grade: 190/200Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and the selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skillsINL Overview:INL is a science-based, applied engineering national laboratory dedicated to supporting the U.S.
