Overview
Assist in the development of the proposal, implementation, and ongoing management of best-in-class cross-functional business processes and management tools to support Canon Business Solutions businesses.
Responsibilities
– Review the current Canon Business Solutions (CBS) business processes and the existing Oracle Applications solutions supporting them to identify needed changes to support the short and long term strategic direction of CBS Senior Management.
– Assist in identifying the appropriate project team to plan and implement the change. Work with cross functional teams (made up of CBS resources, outside consultants and Canon employees) throughout the life of the projects.
– Responsible for reporting project progress and issues to Senior Management on a regular basis, indicating the impacts of the changes requested (centralization, cost savings, etc.).
– Discuss business and systems issues with CBS Senior Management and recommend appropriate automated or manual solutions to remedy deficiencies.
– Must frequently travel to other locations to meet and discuss the progress of the project with the team.
– Become a “Change Agent” and recommend/implement “Best Practices” throughout CBS operations.
– Become an in-house expert in at least 1 or 2 business areas and provide process and system leadership in the assigned areas.
Qualifications
– This position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience
– Solid understanding of industry “best practices”
– Minimum of 8-10 years industry experience in Oracle ERP and Oracle CRM
– Strong project management and interpersonal skills
– Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast paced environment
– Experience in designing, developing and implementing business solutions around Oracle’s e-Business suite of products
– Ability to handle multiple projects and conflicting priorities
