This includes technical research, design, development and deployment of complex clinical applications/solutions, web-based applications, and to enable and advance the strategic goals of the organization, utilizing continuous integration and automation for the build to release processes.
The Applications Architect will also assure that business needs are met in the most cost effective and efficient manner, reducing technical debt and assuring ease of future maintenance while assisting the business in finding the best solutions to meet rapidly changing needs.+ Perform the detailed analysis, technical design and engineering of clinical application solutions and integrations that enable business strategies+ Lead the design and delivery of point in time data reporting.
Participate in ongoing systems management, domain strategy, and vendor management for remote hosted services.
Contribute to the development of application customizations and integrations.
Respond to escalations from the Service Desk to ensure the functional operation of clinical applications+ Participate as subject matter expert on projects in the architecture, design and implementation of clinical, business applications, web-based, mobile apps and interfaces+ Continually seek, demonstrate and share knowledge in the information technology field to result in optimum expertise and resources for Hazelden Betty Ford FoundationRequired Qualifications:+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent to 6 years directly applicable experience+ 5 years directly applicable experience with clinical or business applications within enterprise architecture, including support of multiple complex applications+ 5 years of progressive responsibility in application/system/integration analysis, design, and development life cycle+ 5 years of experience in the following:+ Software engineering and architecture+ Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings+ Design, development and management of enterprise clinical and business applications+ Foreign system integrations, and custom interfaces+ Design, development, and management of web-based and remote-hosted applications, user interfaces (UI), services, and integrations utilizing SQL.+ Design and development of database ERDs+ Engineering custom enterprise clinical and business applications, including facilitation of Intellectual Property development with 3rd party vendors+ 4 years of experience with relational database+ Creating and scheduling jobs+ Creating routines or similar+ 3 years of demonstrated proficiency with process improvement and systems thinking+ Demonstrate superior customer service skills+ Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills+ Demonstrate ability to multi-task and flexibility to quickly shift prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:+ Knowledge of Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation’s business practices+ Experience in health care field, including behavioral health+ Experience with lean tools, methodology and principles+ Project Management Experience+ Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, and data mining+ Technical experience with any of the following programming languages CCL, VB.NET, KSH, Bash (Unix Shell), XSL, XML, HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML, JSON+ Technical experience supporting and developing web-based applications+ Technical experience supporting NCPDP, Application Programming Interfaces (API) including FHIR+ Knowledge of Cerner’s Dynamic Documentation and related templates build and configuration+ Knowledge of Cerner’s MPages build and configuration+ Ability to write and modify reports for PowerInsight and Discern Analytics 2 to export in multiple formats (PDF, Excel, CSV, etc.)ID: 2020-8276 Shift: Day Schedule: Mon
