We collaborate to solve problems, innovate to provide creative solutions and work to continuously improve for our customers and our team.Become a technical influencerWorking within an integrated team you’ll provide technical advisory services and technical development design to key decision-makers, influencing your customers business strategies and maximizing the value they receive from our products.

You’ll be the expert lead on cutting-edge and emerging technologies, sharing your subject-matter expertise across the organization.As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for:Working with customers to define technical strategies for business-critical video delivery, increased viewer adoption and network infrastructureProviding technical thought leadership and guidance to educate peers on best practice and the latest technology trendsPartnering with Akamais Product Management as well as Research & Development teams to develop future product direction and strategyEnsuring smooth running of operations and team metrics by being the final escalation point for internal stakeholdersDo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, another related field or its equivalent.Have experience working in a customer-facing role focused on delivering technical products or servicesHave knowledge and experience with streaming technologies including HLS and DASHUnderstand how the internet and it’s networks and protocols (IP, DNS and routing, HTTP, TCP or web architecture) worksHave the ability to be a technical consultant to our customers and build effective and strategic relationshipsBe comfortable with any scripting language and development to help create automation on our platformsBe able to analyse data, provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholdersWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best can vary for each person.This is a flexible role and may be performed at your home and/or the local Akamai office (in the country advertised).
