If you’re looking to join a team with Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Teamwork at the core of its values, apply today!We offer: First day medical coverage; 401(k) match after 60 days, PTO available to use immediately; relocation assistance.OVERVIEW/DUTIES/DESCRIPTION+ Aircraft Structures Mechanic (Sheet Metal) repairs, fabricates, modifies, and installs sheet metal parts, items, and assemblies.+ Troubleshoots and identifies discrepancies in aircraft structure, sub-structure, and flight control surfaces.+ Repairs, replaces, and fabricates new aircraft structures such as wings, fuselage parts, flight controls and tubing, by using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills.+ Locates cracks, breaks, holes, and dents in aircraft sheet metal structures and determines appropriate repairs from technical data to restore components to original strength.+ Forms stringers, bulkheads, ribs and reinforces damaged or weakened skin on structural members.+ Reads and interprets blueprints and determines dimensions, angles, and contours in performance of structural repair.+ Seeks technical guidance as necessaryREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS+ High School Diploma/GED+ Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English+ Must be able to work various shifts including weekends+ Must have working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle movement, flight line operations, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings and technical orders)+ Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel+ Must be able to obtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X/IPI certification+ Must be able to obtain/maintain security clearancePHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT+ Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line.
