We are seeking talented Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineers with a desire to work aircraft service life analysis.

You will help design, build, and sustain the finest military aircraft in the world in our Aeronautics business area in Fort Worth, Texas.This position is for an entry level structural analysis.

In this position you will:
– Provide products required to certify that the airframe and its systems meet their contractual service life requirements, and provide the products and source data to safely and economically manage the fleet through its entire life cycle
– Develop structural integrity analysis relating to airframe service life using fracture mechanics by performing Durability and Damage Tolerance analysis
– Development, document, and deliver relevant force management products
– Be responsible for structural analysis in support of all BTP releases for new designs, approved engineering changes, Material Review Board issues and affordability driven changes
– Support all ground and flight test articles relating to service life of airframe and system componentsBasic Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering preferred; Civil Engineers will also be considered.Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Desired Skills:
– Basic understanding in Structure, Material Proprieties and Loads
– Experience with programing languages such as MatLab, VBA, Visual Studio, or Python
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
