5G Wireless Solution Architect

You will be responsible for determining our customers’ needs and priorities, crafting technical solutions responsive to those needs, helping to shape customer acquisitions, overseeing technical program execution, driving organic growth through innovation, and positioning GDIT as a leader in the market.You will work with a team of technologists and Subject Matter Experts in the sector to engineer solutions and deliver our written and oral technical proposals.

Join GDIT’s Growth organization and help drive the technical solutions and innovation needed to win and execute our growing business areas.**Key Responsibilities include:****Pursuit/Capture/Proposal** **leadership:**+ Work with a team of top solutions architects in the CTO Organization to develop solutions for our extensive next generation 5G communications and data pipeline for the US Government+ Engineer solutions incorporating 5G, LTE, WiFi with corresponding spectrum bands+ Oversee technical solution strategy throughout the Capture and Proposal lifecycle, from early Qualification through Proposal submission+ Contribute to GDIT win strategies and lead the development of technical win themes and solution readiness plans+ Engage current and prospective customers to understand critical needs, socialize and present solutions, and advise on strategies to shape acquisitions that achieve desired results+ Identify and select the best technical solutions and approaches to meet anticipated or actual acquisition requirements+ Oversee solution design and the development of key artifacts including, but not limited to architectural models, process diagrams, concepts of operation, etc.+ Develop unsolicited technical recommendations, White Papers, collateral, and RFI/SSN responses to engage prospective customers and position GDIT to win+ Collaborate with GDIT technical service areas and lines of business to identify and bring the best technical and business strategies and solutions to differentiate GDIT+ Contribute to teaming strategies including identifying and vetting potential partners+ Oversee readiness of solution and proposal support team to prepare a compelling and compliant response to the government’s solicitation+ Oversee development of the Technical volumes and orals presentations for proposals+ Review proposals and provide critical feedback needed to strengthen our solution and proposals+ Author Technical volume introductions, key sections and orals slides including developing compelling graphics**Basic Qualifications:**+ 20+ years of experience+ Bachelor’s degree+ 10+ years of experience with US Department of Defense+ Experience with technical leadership and project management+ Experience navigating the DoD acquisition community and knowledge of its components across all services.+ Experience in design, delivery, and operations and maintenance of DoD IT systems.+ Experience successfully architecting technical solutions and leading/authoring federal pursuits and proposals+ Experience working with wireless communications, Software-Defined Networks, Radio Access Networks,+ Experience with prototype development and delivery+ Experience managing the designing and integrating a wide range of applications and systems in a DOD enterprise environment.+ Experience in a wide variety of program types, system architectures, and technical capabilities+ Knowledge of DoD contracting requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)+ Creative thinking, problem solving, time management and organizational skills+ Willingness to travel (up to 30%)+ Clearable US Citizen**Desired Qualifications:**+ Active Secret Clearance or above+ Master’s degreeWe are GDIT.
