About the Job
The Web Producer is responsible for driving traffic to the Holly Yashi website. He/She must be familiar with the Big Commerce platform, understand search engine optimization (SEO) and will ensure the content of the Holly Yashi website is optimized for the best user’s experience. He/she will be in charge of arranging, editing, and creating website content to create the voice and character of the site and channel content into a coherent, unique style that is true to the Holly Yashi brand and follows the direction of the Creative Marketing Director.
** Note desired work location is in-house in our in Arcata, California Office but we are open to discussing remote opportunites to residents in Orange County, California. Relocation will not be covered.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and execute web projects based on business goals and requirements, from beginning to end
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; manage stakeholder expectations to ensure all teams are aligned on strategy and delivery, align with rest of team on resource allocation and timing
- Work directly with consultants and internal team to create custom, compelling website content and innovative content ideas
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) for blogs, landing pages and other marketing materials
- Identify and implement opportunities based on competitive research and self-service tools
- Produce graphics and digital visuals to support written content
- Edit content produced by other members of the team
- Analyze content and marketing metrics and makes changes as needed
- Craft messages that are clear, accurate and enticing, and most of all, that follow agreed-upon strategy
- Leverage data – both qualitative and quantitative to inform strategy and recommendations
- Anticipate and solve any roadblocks or challenges
- Document and communicate project status to teams on a regular basis to ensure all teams are aware of the next steps and project milestones
- Update content, make small code adjustments and handle the day-to-day support of ongoing website updates, requests and maintenance.
Skills Required
- Experience with Big commerce and headless websites
- Experience producing digital graphics with Adobe Creative Suite, Prisma, Dot Digital and Canva
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, metafields, email marketing and web analytics
- Excellent writing, grammar and proofreading skills
- The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated to work independently or as a member of a creative team
- Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously and under pressure
- Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing
- Must be flexible and have strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
- Experience with the latest editing tools
- Ability to spot potential design/functionality issues within websites
- Ability to clearly communicate issues/concerns
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills/technologies
