You will take ahuman-centered design approach to create an end-to-end holistic user experience.As a User Interface Designer , you will:Champion the needs of all customer groups and use that knowledge to help influence business strategies and design decisionsDesign, implement and validate hardware design for a portfolio of flight-related products including flight decks and aircraft components, to define our next generation aviation productsExplore a wide variety of compelling design options through rapid sketching and prototypingEngage regularly with mechanical engineers to maintain design intent for go-to-market solutions Sketch product concepts, create technical drawings for prototypes, generate low-fidelity and 3D printed prototypes and create hands-on experiences to test with users Account for each stage of the user journey with ergonomics in mindKey ResponsibilitiesIndustrial designProject collaborationExecuting user-centered designsProduct development processCollaboration with human user experience disciplinesCoaching and development YOU MUST HAVE•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design•2+ years of experience in industrial design•2+ years of experience with usability testing and user research WE VALUE•An industrial design portfolio of both concepts and commercialized products that demonstrates your designs, processes, and thinking.
