UI / UX Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client seeking a UI/UX Designer in Altamonte Springs, FL. Summary: The senior user interface designer works on projects with guidance from UX manager or lead. They collaborate closely with leadership, product, stakeholder and design teams to ensure a relentless focus on our consumer needs. The UI designer possesses a tested strategic approach for, and understanding of user-centered design principles, business process analysis, unique visualization skills, and proven expertise creating user interface and product solutions which attract, guide and engage users in innovative and delighting ways. Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design/HCI, or Visual Communications or related field; In lieu of a degree, minimum of 5 years relevant work experience and a current portfolio is required Minimum of 5 years of experience as a visual designer, user interface designer, interaction designer, or similar role Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Experience with data visualizations, gamification systems, telematics and /or behavior design Experience in collecting and using design feedback Experienced prototyping skills (Invision, Framer, Protypr, Origami, etc.) Excellent visual design, typography, layout, and color sensibilities and skills An advanced level of expertise using Sketch, Invision, Adobe Suite and other industry standard design tools Execute independently on all visual design stages from concept through hand-off to engineering, iterating on design solutions based on feedback, research and test results Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks Maintain consistency of established design patterns/brand identity as well as create new designs to enhance and improve the visual appeal of all materials independently Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, icons and illustrations to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas at an advanced level in collaboration with other team members Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
