The Talent Mine is recruiting for an Instructional Designer with a strong MS suite of products (SharePoint, SQL, MS Dynamics) for a full time, 80 remote opportunity (May need to come into the office once weekly).
This is a role that will have a MAJOR impact on the software applications experience for both new hires as well as the leadership team when new software is rolled out.
You’ll also be working (and making allies) with their tech training team, and driving the training documentation and curriculum for the entire organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW The Technical Instructional Designer is responsible for creating an array of engaging content that drives engagement and productivity through an expansive catalog of products and features.
This includes self-paced instructional videos, live workshops and events, demo environments, certification programs, interactive learning experiences, and more.
Technical Instructional Designers can comfortably engage end-users to recognize and understand business needs and produce relevant, contemporary content.
This position is within the IT department and will work closely with Technical Support, Technology Adoption Coordinators, analysts, and business leaders across the organization.
Onsite and remote work opportunity is available for this position.
NOTE This role is primarily remote, however on rare occasions, you may be needed in one of their corporate offices located in Sacramento, Seattle or Portland.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design, construct, update, and maintain instructional materials that align with the team roadmap, business unit goals, and performance objectives using learning assessments, project scoping, and key learning objectives.
Expand and maintain a library of instructional content using an LMS and other platforms.
Assist in developing internal tools, resources, processes, and skills to continually improve the Instructional Design team work-product and workflows.
Assist with needs analysis and requirements gathering with Technology Adoption Team members to identify and address workflow inefficiencies, knowledge gaps, and resource requirements.
Provide technical training for onboarding new employees as needed.
Serve on project teams to provide testing and guidance on end-user experience with respect to technology rollouts and upgrades.
Continue to develop skills and knowledge by seeking out learning opportunities and keeping updated on technology trends and developments in the industry.
Passionate about education for adult learners and able to apply instructional design principles accordingly.
Ideal Credentials should include A Bachelorrsquos degree or related equivalent combination of education and work experience is required MCT Microsoft Certified Trainer or equivalent experience preferred MOS Microsoft Office Specialist Certification a plus 4+ years of experience doing corporate training, IDEALLY in a law firm (NOT required) Experience in the development of e-Learning If you feel qualified and interested in this immediate, FTE, (almost) 100 remote opportunity, let’s chat!
