Job Summary

REMOTE WORK POSSIBLE

The TECHNICAL DESIGNER will create audiovisual designs under supervision of the Design Director and senior designers

Responsibilities:

• Creation of design documentation
• Lead a team of designers on large projects through completion
• Document quality control
• Creation of training documentation
• Evaluate electronic equipment
• Perform sustaining engineering tasks
• Revise templates
• Database research and data entry
• Creation of Revit model families
• Creation of AutoCAD blocks
• Revise standard documentation
• Participate in the Learn by Teaching program

Qualifications: 

• 4+ years of audiovisual design experience
• CTS-D certification 
• Manufacturer certifications a plus
• Experience with Autodesk Revit software
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD software
• Expert knowledge of DSP file design across manufacturer platforms
• Ability to understand and interoperate architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
• Working knowledge of data and networking for AV, including streaming 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and excel in a team environment
• Understanding of normal business and office procedures 
• Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Self-motivated independent thinker
• 2-year college degree a must, 4-year degree in an engineering discipline preferred
