Store Env Visual Pres Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing a team of visual space planners and their work quality, capacity, and personal and professional development. Providing strategic guidance on the development of merchandising presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
? Manages the daily operations of a team of Visual Space Planners responsible for supporting the development of merchandising plans & planogram presentation architecture for company initiatives.
? Partners with Merchants & cross-functional teams to deliver high quality analytic outputs that align with category strategies, tactics & goals.
? Drives meaningful dialogue to develop space planning and visual planogram design documents that effectively enable clear decisions, priorities & trade-offs.
? Proactively, manages the escalation of merchandising plan and planogram architecture issues to appropriate cross-functional teams.
? Oversees the timely delivery of high quality & accurate visual space planning and visual planogram design documents that communicate merchandising strategy & category specific details & enable efficient merchandising plan and planogram development.
? Accountable for ensuring team?s ongoing store support of merchandising plans that promptly resolve issues & drive in store efficiencies.
? Oversees team?s participation in development projects, POCs & the like, optimizing productivity & efficiency, while meeting deadlines.
? Develops & mentors direct reports through onboarding, open communication, training/development opportunities & performance management processes.
? Drives team engagement through inspirational leadership & positive manager-employee relationships.
? Partners with Lowe?s support center in Bangalore to support timely, cost effective delivery of merchandising plans to support company initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Management, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications:
? 6+ years? experience in retail store planning and design, which could include experience in developing the retail department visualization plan across multiple categories, experience in interpretation of category attributes and space allocation, experience working on a cross-functional team/project, program/project lead for complex presentation changes, experience in a role that requires strategy and planning
